SUNNYSIDE -- Sunnyside police catch a Pasco man in connection to a bank robbery within hours of the suspect committing the crime.
Police say Gerardo Rios Orosco entered the Yakima Federal Savings and Loan in Sunnyside around nine this morning. He demanded money from the teller...who complied...and then fled on foot. No weapon was shown.
Police later found Rios Orosco in the area of Eighth and Decatur Avenue in Sunnyside. He is in custody at the Sunnyside city jail where he is being held on first degree robbery charges.
